I've been in a rut lately. In combination of lousy weather here in Okinawa and my lack of creative ingenuity, I haven't been out to take much photos for several weeks. It seems I can only dream of places I should go to wakeup my creative juices. But the reality is, there are always opportunities for getting good photos, you just have to look for them. As I was driving to work this morning, I was thinking that this was going to be another dull day without good skies and it will probably rain again. As I am want to do, I had my camera bag in the car and decided I was going to stop by Toguchi Beach before heading into work and see what I could make out of it. I started taking a closer look and saw that while it was overcast, there was enough details in the clouds to provide an interesting look. The photo today is from a place I've photographed many times before and like to return too fairly often. While this is still not the photo I envision from here, I like it nonetheless. I am not always going to get the perfect scene; I need to put more effort in getting shots even if the weather isn't cooperating.
