What do you do with a crappy photo that you really want to be good? You pixel bend it to death until it is still crap. But, I had a lot of fun working on it. As you can see by the original photo below, the sky was blah, Mt Fuji was hidden and the light was useless, but I tried to recover it anyway because this was the only one that had any hope of getting Mt Fuji in the photo. I finally just gave up and started doing some crazy stuff with it and fell into a look that resembles the traditional Japanese art form known as Ukiyo-e. Once I started to see that resemblance, I went all out and tried to give it that look. I normally try to post just my best work, but today I wanted to post this photo because it has an odd attraction. It's not a good photo but it intrigues me and maybe you as well.
